Help

All SUNY Sullivan students taking distance learning courses should first follow campus procedures for attempting to resolve complaints. SUNY Sullivan procedures for resolving academic complaints, such as grade appeals and academic standing appeals can be found online at http://sunysullivan.edu/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/GrievanceProcedures2013.pdf. Open SUNY+ students may wish to contact Sullivan’s Open SUNY+ Concierge for assistance in navigating the complaint resolution process. Students can contact the concierge at

Out-of-state students:

All students (irrespective of in-state or out-of-state) must first exhaust campus-based procedures and then the next step would be to file a complaint with the SARA State Portal Entity of the state in which the institution is located (not the state in which the student resides).

Here is the NC-SARA webpage with information regarding the process: https://nc-sara.org/student-complaints.
